SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER:
Purpose of the position:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships. This role ensures the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from suppliers to customers, aiming to meet the company's operational and financial goals.
Key Performance Areas/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement corporate Travel policies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract management.
- Oversee logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation and distribution of goods.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
- Develop accurate demand forecasts and align supply chain activities accordingly.
- Implement cost control measures to achieve financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to achieve high performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics and report on key indicators to senior management.

- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Experience with procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
